Two months ago, I began searching for my future home in South Lake Tahoe. I’m from the Bay Area but have been going to Tahoe for years and finally decided to buy. I started browsing on Zillow shortly after Wells Fargo gave me a pre-approval but skeptical of finding a good agent. After doing research, reading reviews, and speaking with Shelia, I knew from the first conversation that she was knowledgeable of the area, thorough, and would get the job done. Long story short, Wells Fargo was behind in the loan approval process, charged me twice for the appraisal, and even neglected my follow-up emails. Shelia was supportive of my situation but had my best interest in mind, as I was close to falling out of escrow and losing my new home had she not referred me to another lender. I finally closed and was able to move in with no issues and in a timely manner. During this process, I had a contractor come give me an estimate of repairs, a carpet Installer take measurements and even had deliveries that arrived early. Shelia had kindly gone out of her way to let these people in and secure my packages as well. If your reading this review and still don’t have an agent, spend 10 minutes on the phone with Shelia and you will know that you will be in good hands. Professionalism, market knowledge, negotiation experience, punctuality, and excellent communication skills are just a few strengths that come to mind. I will definitely be using her in the future.
